A thread lift, often called the “lunch time face lift” is a minimally invasive procedure designed to raise the brows and cheeks, neck, jowls, breast, buttocks and soften lines around the mouth and nose. Thread lift naturally contours the face, leaving the face looking refreshed – not different. Compared to many other cosmetic procedures that can distort or reshape facial features. Over time the inserted thread or threads creates a platform effect that holds the lift effect in place.
As the thread dissolves an improvement in the skin’s colour, texture, tone and skin hydration becomes more evident leaving the skin more youthful and radiant. Results continue to improve for 12 to 18 months after the procedure, with some results lasting for several years. Thread lifts are extremely effective for reducing the early signs of ageing, sagging skin, file lines, dark circles and eye bags.
The side effects involved after treatment is bruising and mild swelling. Each individual is different, depending on metabolism you may or may not bruise. Swelling and bruising generally last for a few days only, and is usually not significant.
